Hey, I’m Jess!
I have always been fascinated with photographs. It amazed me how real life could be transformed into a picture with a simple click of a button. As I grew older, I realized the complexity of a photograph, and that it was more that just the simplicity it seemed to be.
As a Sheridan graduate, I was taught the fundamentals of how a camera worked, how to light subjects properly, and was given the time and all the camera gear I could ever want to learn about shooting. I learned amazing things at Sheridan, but nothing taught me more than working at a studio and figuring out how to apply all the tips and tricks I learned in school.
For the past thirteen years, I have had the privilege of working with studios and other professionals in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. I have been given the opportunities to shoot at some amazing events and the time to grow my own business. At Jessica Lynn Photography, our shooters are all very talented, professionally trained, and have an amazing eye for the art of photography.
